Welcome to UFCW Local 464A! We at your Local Union are pleased to serve you through the many features of this site as well as our daily work at our offices in Little Falls, NJ, and Tarrytown, NY.

The membership of Local 464A is nearly 20,000 strong and growing in New Jersey, New York, and a part of Pennsylvania. We represent men and women who work hard and display professionalism every day at their jobs in all the major food chains. These chains include ACME, Foodtown, Key Foods, Kings, Shop Rite, and Stop & Shop. We also represent many other individuals in service-related businesses. Our members enjoy excellent wages, outstanding pensions, and all-inclusive medical benefits.

CONTRACT RATIFICATION VOTE RESULTS President Niccollai reported today that four (4) members of the Contract Negotiations Committee along with the Union Officers and staff members tallied the votes received at the store level from this past Saturday, Sunday, and Monday morning. We are most pleased to report the results as follows: 2,115 – “YES” Votes to accept the Company’s final contract offer.  15 – “NO” Votes to reject the Company’s final contract offer and strike. CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS UPDATE *FINAL PROPOSAL TO BE SUBMITTED FOR RATIFICATION* President Niccollai reported today that a tentative settlement has been reached with ShopRite, Stop & Shop, Kings, Foodtown, DeCicco’s, and other Independent Employers which along with monumental pay increases will guarantee no co-pay medical and proper funding for a non-contributory Defined Benefit Pension Plan for the entire term of the Agreement. NEGOTIATIONS RUMOR MILL President Niccollai reported today that the Union is receiving phone calls from extremely concerned Members regarding the status of our contract.  These calls are all over the lot - some saying we are definitely going on strike and others saying that an agreement has been reached.  Unfortunately, as always with the rumor mill, it’s never correct.  As I indicated in our last posting, the companies did withdraw a number of previous contract demands and did, in fact, present a wage proposal which we view as totally inadequate.  Our next negotiating...
