SHORTAGE OF ADEQUATE WORKERS

President Niccollai reported today that as Frontline Employees in the Food Industry, we are experiencing an inability by some of our Union Employers to properly staff departments.  This situation is occurring because of several factors:

First, there are people still fearful of returning to work because of COVID-19 issues.

ACME CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS UPDATE

President Niccollai reported that the Company and Union Negotiating Committees met again yesterday, in an attempt to reach a settlement with only four days left before the present agreement expires.  The two sides made very little progress.  The issues still causing serious problems and preventing a lack of movement are as follows:

ACME CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS UPDATE

President Niccollai reported this morning that a meeting was held yesterday between the Union and Company Negotiating Committees concerning our attempt to reach an Agreement on a new ACME Contract.  As we know, our present Agreement expires on May 1st and that leaves us only several weeks to formulate and ratify a new Agreement.
