IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM PRESIDENT JOHN T. NICCOLLAI MONDAY, FEBRUARY 23, 2026
ACME CONTRACT RATIFICATION VOTE RESULTS
Notwithstanding the blizzard in New York and New Jersey, your Union was able to open the office this morning, February 23, 2026, in order to report the extremely important results of our ACME contract ratification vote. As we stated in our previous posting, this contract is nothing short of amazing and addresses our needs moving into the future.
Again, some of the most important highlights are as follows:
- No concessions. No give backs.
- No co-pay medical benefits for full-time and part-time members for the next 5 years.
- Full-time raises of between $160 to $185 per week and $3.50 per hour for part-time members all with front-loaded raises.
- Proper funding for our pension plans into the future.
- Additional managerial classifications.
- Increased shift premiums.
- All full-time employees on progression will either move to the top rate or receive the general wage increases, whichever is greater.
Without question, this is one of the best contracts we have ever negotiated!
Ratification vote results are as follows:
“YES” votes to approve – 749
“NO” votes to strike – 4
Voided ballots – 3
We wish to thank the rank-and-file ACME negotiating committee members for an outstanding job: Salvatore Marino, Rhamel Hall, Andrew Lehman and Chanel Jeter.
Most importantly, we wish to thank all of our ACME members whose powerful voices and unwavering support made this result possible. Now that our future is secure for the next five years, we can get back to growing the business and continuing to give excellent service to our customer base.
God bless our ACME members and thank you for being there when we needed you.
