ACME-KINGS PAYROLL PROBLEMS

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

 

 

Your Union has been in a continuing battle with both ACME and Kings concerning the inability on the part of the Companies to pay members their proper rates and appropriate entitlements.  This situation must come to an end and, apparently, our demands to date have not moved the Companies to correct the problems.

 

Effective immediately, it is now our intent to file arbitrations against both ACME and Kings in order to make our Brothers and Sisters whole concerning the monies due and owing.  We are interested in situations involving improper payment or failure to pay the following:

 

1. Vacation, sick or personal days

2. Compression rates

3. Sunday rates

4. Any other salary or entitlement payments due and not received

 

I would ask all of our affected members to communicate with Don Juiliano, at the Union Office, documenting your specific issues so that we include them in our arbitration filing.  The sooner we get your input, the faster we will be able to file.

 

We go to work as scheduled and do an amazing job in serving our customers during a continuing Pandemic, with risks to our health and well-being and that of our families.  We deserve and demand that these issues be corrected;  we are filing an arbitration and will not stop until we prevail!
