HAZARD PAY

 

President Niccollai reported today that in addition to filing grievances against all our Employers regarding the reduction and or elimination of “hazard pay”, we have also commenced a social media campaign asking for the help of our supermarket customers.  Attached herewith is a message that will appear in several widely circulated newspapers and on social media.

 

As our message clearly states, we are not seeking a boycott but rather customer input in getting our Employers to do the right thing by continuing our “hazard pay” during this now escalating pandemic.  Your use of social media would also be helpful through contact with your family and friends.  

 

Remember, it is not our intent to damage our Employers’ business.  What we are seeking is justice and current events have demonstrated “The Power of the People”.
