AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM PRESEIDENT JOHN T. NICCOLLAI - MONDAY, NOVEMBER 22, 2021

RATIFICATION VOTE – FINAST CONTRACT

 

 

President Niccollai reported today that the Ballots were tabulated regarding the Ratification Vote of the Company’s Final Offer for our Finast Brothers and Sisters.

 

We are pleased to report the results as follows:

 

YES VOTES – 263

VOTES TO STRIKE – 2

NO VOTE – 1

 

We would be remiss if we failed to recognize the outstanding efforts of Recorder John Niccollai III complemented by Assistant Contract Administrator Justin Ramos and Union Delegate John Finn.  We also are deeply indebted to our Negotiating Committee Members:

Orestes (Tony) Carrera

Sal Battaglia

 

Again, as we said before, this amazing result is directly attributed to the solidarity and determination of all our Finast Brothers and Sisters.  This Contract actually exceeds in some areas what we negotiated with the rest of the Industry, and will serve us well through August 29, 2026.  Obviously, our greatest accomplishment is the no co-pay Health Care for both our full-time and part-time members.

 

This Contract result should help all of us in celebrating a joyous Thanksgiving with our families and loved ones.
