2014 UFCW Local 464A Scholarship Recipients Announced, Scholarship Awards Increased to Twenty



President, John T. Niccollai, and the other officers of UFCW Local 464A welcomed twenty exceptional students to the local union’s annual scholarship dinner in Little Falls, NJ on August 7. The students, graduates from high schools in New Jersey and New York and soon to be entering a number of colleges and universities across the U.S., are all high academic achievers going on to pursue demanding areas of study.

LITTLE FALLS - Although the sign on the door to John T. Niccollai's expansive office at the United Food and Commercial Workers Union Local 464A on Paterson Avenue reads "Negotiations in Progress," in red block letters, the union president does more than just negotiate contracts on behalf of the 18,000 workers his organization represents at chain food markets in the region.
